To mix Standard Clay Company dry glazes, add the recommended amount of water (typically around 15 oz per 1 lb of dry glaze) and pass the liquefied glaze through a 60 or 80 mesh sieve for best results.
If glazes settle or hard-pan in the bucket, you can add Epsom salts, bentonite, or a gum solution. For Epsom salts, dissolve a small amount in hot water before combining with the glaze.
Immerse the piece for approximately 3 seconds, then allow it to dry for a minimum of 5 minutes. You can repeat the process if desired.
