Turn the vehicle ignition ON, then push and hold the programming/valet button. The LED will turn on solid to indicate Valet Mode is active. Release the button.
Diagnostic flashes indicate the cause of shutdown: 3 flashes for Hood/Brake input, 4 flashes for Remote Start Valet Mode, 5 flashes for Manual Transmission Mode not ready, and 7 flashes if the Tach signal is not learned.
Start the vehicle with the key, press and hold the brake pedal, and lock the system using the remote. The parking lights will flash to indicate the tach signal has been learned and stored.
While the vehicle is running, press the remote start button twice within 2 seconds. The LED will flash to confirm. You can then remove the keys and exit; the vehicle will remain running.
Press the search/find button (often the lock or specific icon button) to activate the Progressive Car Finder. The lights will flash and the horn/siren will sound 5 times at increasing isipadu.
