1. Pengenalan

This user manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective operation of the FeelTech NCV Multimeter Digital MC618C. This professional auto-range multimeter is designed for measuring AC/DC voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, and features NCV (Non-Contact Voltage) detection and firewire detection. It is equipped with protection against burn and a positive display VALCD screen for clear readings.

3. Persediaan dan Operasi Awal

3.1. Membongkar

Carefully remove the multimeter and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present.

3.2. Pemasangan Bateri

The multimeter requires batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment on the rear of the device. Use a screwdriver to open the compartment cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators, and then securely close the cover.

4. Arahan Operasi

Before operating, ensure the multimeter is in good condition and the test leads are properly connected. Always select the appropriate function and range before making a measurement.

4.1. Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa

Rotate the rotary switch from the "OFF" position to any desired measurement function to power on the device. To power off, rotate the switch back to the "OFF" position. The device also features an automatic shut-down function after 15 minutes of inactivity.

4.2. AC/DC Voltage Pengukuran (V~)

  1. Set the rotary switch to the "V~" position for AC voltage atau "V-" untuk volum DCtage.

4.4. Pengukuran Rintangan (Ω)

  1. Tetapkan suis putar ke kedudukan "Ω".

4.5. Capacitance Measurement (mF)

  1. Set the rotary switch to the "mF" position.
  2. Ensure the capacitor is fully discharged before measurement to prevent damage to the multimeter.

4.6. NCV (Not-Contact Voltage) Pengukuran

4.7. Temperature Measurement (°C/°F)

  1. Set the rotary switch to the "Temp" position.
  2. Connect the temperature probe (K-type thermocouple) to the appropriate input jacks.

Note: The complimentary temperature probe can only measure up to 300°C. For higher temperatures, a professional temperature probe is required.

4.8. Fungsi Pegangan Data

Press the "HOLD" button to freeze the current reading on the display. Press it again to release the hold function and resume live readings.

4.9. Lampu latar dan lampu suluh

Press the backlight/flashlight button to turn on the display backlight for better visibility in dim conditions. Press and hold the button to activate the built-in flashlight.

4.10. Auto/Manual Range

The multimeter supports both auto-ranging and manual ranging. In auto-range mode, the meter automatically selects the best range for the measurement. Press the "RANGE" or "SEL" button (depending on model) to switch to manual ranging and cycle through available ranges.

5. Penyelenggaraan

5.1. Pembersihan

If the multimeter fails to measure current or shows an "FUSE" indicator, the fuse may be blown. Refer to the internal diagram for fuse specifications and replace with a fuse of the same type and rating. Always disconnect test leads and power off the device before opening the case.
