1. Pengenalan

This manual provides detailed instructions for the VIFLYKOO EM3378UC Outdoor Sensor. This wireless sensor is designed to accurately measure outdoor temperature and humidity, transmitting data to a compatible weather station. 2. Maklumat Keselamatan

• Do not expose the sensor to extreme temperatures beyond its operating range (refer to specifications).
• Avoid direct exposure to water or heavy rain for prolonged periods, although the sensor is designed for outdoor use, extreme conditions may affect performance.

4. Persediaan

4.1 Pemasangan Bateri

1. Cari penutup petak bateri di bahagian belakang sensor.
2. Luncurkan penutup ke bawah untuk membuka petak.
3. Masukkan dua (2) bateri AA, pastikan kekutuban (+/-) yang betul.
4. Gantikan penutup petak bateri, gelongsorkannya ke atas sehingga ia berbunyi klik pada tempatnya.

4.2 Pairing with Main Weather Station

The sensor is designed to work with compatible VIFLYKOO weather stations, including models EM3378UC, 3390F, 3383D, 378QX, 3378YC, and 3383C. Refer to your main weather station's manual for specific pairing instructions. Generally, the process involves:

1. Ensure both the sensor and the main station have fresh batteries installed.
2. Select a channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3) on the outdoor sensor using the Channel Button. Ensure this matches the channel selected on your main weather station for outdoor sensor data.
3. Initiate the sensor search function on your main weather station (refer to its manual).
4. Tekan ke Suis TX button on the outdoor sensor to send a signal. The signal light will flash.
5. The main station should detect and display the sensor's data within a few minutes. If not, repeat the steps, ensuring the devices are within range.

4.3 Memasang Penderia

For accurate readings, choose a mounting location that is protected from direct sunlight and heavy precipitation, but still allows for good air circulation. The sensor can be mounted flexibly:

• Pemasangan Dinding: Use the integrated wall hanging hole and a suitable screw (not included) to secure the sensor to a wall, eave, or fence.
• Pemasangan Kurungan: The sensor also features a fixing bracket for alternative mounting options.

The wireless transmission range is approximately 100-110 meters in open, unobstructed areas. With physical obstacles like walls, the effective range is about 50-60 meters. Position the sensor within this range of your main weather station.

5. Operasi

5.1 Pemilihan Unit Suhu (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature display, press the Suis ° C / ° F button located inside the battery compartment. The display on the sensor will update accordingly.

5.2 Reading Data

The sensor's small LCD screen displays the current temperature and humidity. For a comprehensive view and historical data, refer to your main weather station's display.

6. Penyelenggaraan

6.1 Pembersihan

Lap sensor secara berkala dengan kain lembut,amp kain. Jangan gunakan pembersih atau pelarut yang kasar, kerana ini boleh merosakkanasing atau komponen dalaman.

6.2 Penggantian Bateri

When the battery indicator on the sensor or main station shows low power, replace both AA batteries with new ones. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1. After replacing batteries, you may need to re-pair the sensor with your main weather station.

7. Penyelesaian masalah

• No readings on main station:
  • Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient power in both the sensor and the main station.
  • Ensure the sensor and main station are set to the same channel.
  • Verify that the sensor is within the effective transmission range (50-60m with obstacles, 100-110m unobstructed).
  • Try re-pairing the sensor with the main station (refer to Section 4.2).
