1. Pengenalan

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your TACTACAM Defend Cellular Security Camera. This device is designed for outdoor security, offering motion-activated monitoring and cellular connectivity to transmit images and videos without the need for Wi-Fi.

3. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

3.1 Battery and SD Card Installation

3.2 Memasang Kamera

The TACTACAM Defend camera comes with a mounting bracket for secure installation. Choose a location that provides an optimal view of the area you wish to monitor. The camera is designed for outdoor use and can be mounted on walls, poles, or trees.

To activate and manage your camera, download the official TACTACAM Defend app on your smartphone. Follow the in-app instructions to register your camera and select a cellular subscription plan. Plans start from $5 per month.

4. Operasi

4.1 Motion Activation and Notifications

The TACTACAM Defend camera features motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will capture images or video and send notifications to your smartphone via the cellular network. The frequency and type of notifications depend on your selected subscription plan.

Access captured images and videos directly through the TACTACAM Defend app. Depending on your subscription, you can receive monthly photo notifications, access cloud storage, and download HD videos and photos on demand.

• Starter Plan: Offers 250 monthly photo notifications and 60-day cloud storage per camera.
• Pro Plan: Provides unlimited monthly photo notifications and 60-day cloud storage per camera.
• Plus Plan: An add-on that requires a Starter or Pro Camera Plan. It offers unlimited remote downloads of HD video and photos, on-demand videos and photos, and 1-year cloud storage per account.

5. Penyelenggaraan

5.1 Pengurusan Bateri

Monitor the battery level through the TACTACAM Defend app. Rechargeable batteries should be charged as needed. If using AA batteries, replace them when depleted. Consider using optional solar panels for continuous power and reduced battery changes.

5.2 Pengurusan Kad SD

Periodically check the SD card storage capacity. While cloud storage is available with a subscription, the SD card provides local backup. Format the SD card through the app or by removing it and formatting it on a computer if necessary.
