4. Persediaan

The Starfrit Vacuum Sealer features 5 preset functions for various food types and sealing needs.

General Vacuum Sealing Steps:
- Sediakan Beg: Place the food item into a vacuum sealer bag, leaving at least 3 inches (7.5 cm) of space between the food and the top edge of the bag. Ensure the open end of the bag is clean and dry.
- Letakkan Beg: Open the lid of the vacuum sealer. Place the open end of the bag flat into the vacuum channel, ensuring it is centered over the sealing strip.
- Tutup dan Kunci: Close the lid firmly until both lid locks click into place.
- Pilih Fungsi: Choose the appropriate preset function based on your food type.
- Mulakan Pengedap: Press the selected function button. The machine will automatically vacuum the air and then seal the bag.
- Lepaskan dan Buang: Once the process is complete, the indicator light will turn off. Press the release buttons (if applicable) or lift the lid locks to open the lid and remove the sealed bag.

- lembut: For delicate or fragile foods that could be crushed by a full vacuum, such as bread, chips, or baked goods. This setting applies a lighter vacuum.
External Sealing with Adapters:
The vacuum sealer includes 3 adapters and 2 tubes for external vacuum sealing with compatible containers or bags from other brands.

- Connect one end of a tube to the external vacuum port on the sealer.
- Attach the appropriate adapter to the other end of the tube.
- Connect the adapter to the vacuum port of your container or bag.
- Select the 'External Vacuuming' function on the control panel. The machine will remove air from the container/bag.
- Once vacuuming is complete, remove the tube and adapter.
