It also features a redesigned detachable shock mount with improved performance and innovative spring-loaded pins, making removal easy and allowing the use of universal shock mounts. In response to our fan’s feedback, QuadCast 2 now includes a multi-function knob so you can do everything on-board without needing to alt-tab. The knob allows users to choose between microphone gain, playback volume, microphone monitoring volume, and can also switch polar patterns. The LED indicator also makes it easy to determine the current mic status without the hassle of going into the software. Users can choose different lighting effects and tune their mic via HyperX NGENUITY. The HyperX QuadCast 2 – the new standard for streaming microphones.

3. Persediaan

Follow these steps to set up your HyperX QuadCast 2 microphone:

4. Arahan Operasi

Understand the various controls and features of your HyperX QuadCast 2 for optimal performance.

4.1 Tap-to-Mute Sensor

The tap-to-mute sensor is located on the top of the microphone. Simply tap the top of the microphone to instantly mute or unmute your audio. The LED indicator will change to show the microphone's mute status.

4.2 Multifunction Knob

The multifunction knob on the front of the microphone allows for quick adjustments without needing to access software. Press the knob to cycle through different modes: microphone gain, playback volume, and microphone monitoring volume. Rotate the knob to adjust the selected setting. You can also switch polar patterns by pressing and holding the knob.

4.3 Mic Status LED Indicator

The LED indicator on the microphone's grille and top provides visual feedback on its status. It clearly shows whether the microphone is active or muted, and can display customizable lighting effects.

4.4 Selectable Polar Patterns

The QuadCast 2 offers four distinct polar patterns to optimize audio capture for various scenarios:

• Kardioid: Best for podcasts, streaming, voiceovers, and instruments. Captures sound directly in front of the microphone, reducing background noise.
• Omnidirectional: Ideal for multiperson podcasts, conference calls, and environments where sound needs to be captured from all directions.
• Dua arah: Suited for face-to-face interviews, capturing sound from the front and back of the microphone while rejecting side noise.
• Stereo: Best for vocals and instruments, providing a wider soundstage for immersive audio recording.

5. Penyelenggaraan

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your HyperX QuadCast 2 microphone, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Adjust the microphone gain using the multifunction knob or HyperX NGENUITY software. Avoid setting the gain too high, which can cause distortion.
  • Ensure you are speaking directly into the front of the microphone (for Cardioid pattern) and at an appropriate distance (typically 6-12 inches).
  • Check the selected polar pattern to ensure it is suitable for your recording environment and sound source.
  • If using HyperX NGENUITY, ensure no audio filters are causing unintended effects.
• LED Lighting Not Working/Incorrect:
