Follow these steps to connect your hard drive:
- Connect the SATA cable: Attach the SATA connector of the adapter to your 2.5" SSD/HDD or 3.5" HDD.
- Connect the Power Adapter (for 3.5" HDDs): If using a 3.5" HDD, connect the included power adapter to the SATA adapter and then to a power outlet. This is crucial for proper operation of 3.5" drives.

- For New Disks (Windows PC): Right-click "This PC," select "Manage," then go to "Disk Management" to initialize and format the new disk. Refer to your operating system's documentation for detailed instructions on disk formatting.
- Test with Another Disk: If possible, test the WAVLINK device with a different disk to determine if the issue is with the adapter or the original disk.
