4. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

   • Level the sand and remove the standpipe cover.
   • Reinstall the multi-port valve, ensuring it is properly seated and sealed.

5. Arahan Operasi

The multi-port valve controls the flow of water through the filter system. Always turn off the pump before changing the valve position to prevent damage.

Multi-Port Valve Positions:

• PENAPIS: Normal filtering operation. Water flows through the sand bed, trapping debris, and returns to the pool. This is the most common setting.
• CUCI BALIK: Used to clean the filter sand. Water flows in reverse through the sand bed, dislodging trapped debris, and is directed out the waste port. Backwash until the sight glass (if present) runs clear.
• Bilas: Used after backwashing to settle the sand bed and flush any remaining dirty water to waste. Run for 30-60 seconds.
• WASTE/DRAIN: Bypasses the filter and sends water directly out the waste port. Useful for vacuuming heavy debris directly to waste or lowering pool water level.

Starting the System:

• Filter Sand Replacement: Filter sand typically lasts 3-5 years, depending on usage and water chemistry. Replace the sand when filtration efficiency decreases despite regular backwashing.
