If desired, insert a HALLS Vapor Pad into the designated vapor pad tray located on the base unit. Do not place vapor pads directly into the water tank.

The humidifier will automatically turn off when the water tank is empty. The indicator light will change color (e.g., from green to red) to signal that the tank needs refilling.
