1. Pengenalan

This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your AVI-8 P-51 Mustang Blakeslee AV-4077 Chronograph Pilot Watch. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper use and longevity of your timepiece.

The AVI-8 P-51 Mustang Blakeslee watch features a 43mm stainless steel case with a black PVD finish and a scratch-resistant mineral crystal lens with anti-reflective coating. It is powered by a Japanese Meca-Quartz chronograph movement, offering precise timekeeping with luminous hands and markers for readability. 3. Persediaan

3.1 Persediaan Awal dan Tetapan Masa

1. Before setting the time, ensure any plastic tab protecting the crown is removed.
2. Gently pull the crown (located on the right side of the watch case) out to its outermost position. This will stop the second hand.
3. Putar mahkota mengikut arah jam atau lawan arah jam untuk menetapkan jarum jam dan minit pada masa yang dikehendaki.
4. Setelah masa ditetapkan, tolak mahkota kembali ke kedudukan asalnya. Tangan kedua akan menyambung semula pergerakan.

3.2 Tetapan Tarikh

1. Pull the crown out to the first click position (if applicable, otherwise use the outermost position).
2. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
3. Once the date is set, push the crown back into its original position.

4. Mengendalikan Chronograph

Your AVI-8 AV-4077 watch features a chronograph function for measuring elapsed time. The chronograph typically uses dedicated pushers on the side of the watch case.

4.1 Starting and Stopping the Chronograph

1. Press the top pusher (usually located at the 2 o'clock position) to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
2. To stop the chronograph, press the top pusher again. The chronograph hands will stop, indicating the elapsed time.

4.2 Resetting the Chronograph

1. After stopping the chronograph, press the bottom pusher (usually located at the 4 o'clock position) to reset the chronograph hands to their zero positions.

5.1 Tahan Air

Your AVI-8 AV-4077 watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, showering, or washing hands. It is NOT suitable for diving, snorkeling, or prolonged water exposure. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

5.2 Pembersihan

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. Clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry naturally.

5.3 Penjagaan Tali

The genuine leather strap may show signs of wear over time. To prolong its life, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture. If the strap becomes wet, dry it thoroughly before wearing.

6. Penyelesaian masalah

6.1 Watch Not Running or Intermittent Operation

• Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is pulled out, the watch will not run.
• The Meca-Quartz movement requires a battery. If the watch stops completely, the battery may need replacement. Contact a qualified watch technician for battery replacement.

6.2 Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero

If the chronograph hands do not return precisely to the 12 o'clock (zero) position after resetting, they may need calibration. This can sometimes occur after a battery change or impact.

1. Pull the crown out to the outermost position (time setting position).
2. Press the top pusher repeatedly to advance the chronograph second hand until it aligns with the 12 o'clock position.
3. If other chronograph sub-dials are misaligned, use the bottom pusher to adjust them to their zero positions.
4. Once all chronograph hands are aligned, push the crown back into its normal operating position.
