1. Produk Lebihview

The Jyving LCD Digital Temperature Humidity Meter (models HTC-1 and HTC-2) is a versatile device designed to monitor indoor and, for the HTC-2 model, outdoor temperature and humidity. It features a large LCD display for easy readability and includes additional functions such as a clock, calendar, and daily alarm. The device can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall.

2. Persediaan dan Pemasangan

2.1 Pemasangan Bateri

1. Cari petak bateri di bahagian belakang peranti.
2. Geser buka penutup petak bateri.
3. Insert one 1.5V AAA size battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Tutup penutup petak bateri dengan selamat.

Note: Batteries are not included with the device.

2.2 Penempatan

The meter can be placed in two ways:

• Peletakan Desktop: Extend the folding bracket on the back of the device to stand it upright on a flat surface.
• Gantung Dinding: Use the hanging hole located on the back of the device to mount it on a wall using a nail or screw (not included).

2.3 Maklumat Sensor

• HTC-1 Model: The temperature and humidity sensors are built-in. For more precise indoor readings, ensure the sensor area (small vents on the device) is exposed to the environment.
• HTC-2 Model: This model includes an external probe with a 1.5-meter cable for outdoor temperature measurement, while indoor humidity is measured by the built-in sensor.

3. Arahan Operasi

The device features three control buttons on the front: MODE, ADJ, and MEMORY.

3.1 Fungsi Butang

• Butang MOD:
  • Press once to switch between displaying the current time, date, and alarm time.
  • Tekan dan tahan untuk memasuki mod tetapan masa/tarikh.
• Butang ADJ:
  • Used to adjust values (hours, minutes, date) when in setting mode.
  • In normal time display mode, press to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
• Butang MEMORI:
  • Press once to display the maximum (MAX) temperature and humidity recorded since the last reset.
  • Press again to display the minimum (MIN) temperature and humidity.
  • Tekan kali ketiga untuk kembali ke bacaan semasa.
  • Press and hold for approximately 2 seconds to clear the MAX/MIN memory.

3.2 Menetapkan Masa dan Tarikh

1. Tekan dan tahan butang MODE button for approximately 3 seconds until the hour digits flash.
2. Gunakan ADJ butang untuk menetapkan jam.
3. Tekan MODE again to move to the minute setting, then use ADJ untuk menetapkan minit.
4. Teruskan menekan MODE to cycle through year, month, and date settings, adjusting each with the ADJ butang.
5. After setting the date, press MODE sekali lagi untuk keluar dari mod tetapan.

3.3 Menetapkan Penggera Harian

1. Tekan ke MODE button repeatedly until the alarm time is displayed (usually indicated by an alarm icon).
2. Tekan dan tahan butang MODE button for approximately 3 seconds until the alarm hour digits flash.
3. Gunakan ADJ butang untuk menetapkan jam penggera yang diingini.
4. Tekan MODE again to move to the alarm minute setting, then use ADJ untuk menetapkan minit.
5. Tekan MODE one last time to exit the alarm setting mode.

3.4 Menukar Unit Suhu (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the small button inside the battery compartment (refer to Image 2). Press this button once to toggle the temperature unit.

4. Penyelenggaraan

4.1 Penggantian Bateri

When the display becomes dim or the device stops functioning, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 2.1. Always use a fresh 1.5V AAA size battery.

4.2 Pembersihan

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water. Ensure the sensor vents are kept clear of dust and debris for accurate readings.

4.3 Penyimpanan

If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage. Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5. Penyelesaian masalah

• Tiada Paparan atau Paparan Malap:
  • Periksa sama ada bateri dipasang dengan betul dengan polariti yang betul.
  • Replace the battery with a new 1.5V AAA size battery.
• Bacaan Suhu/Kelembapan Tidak Tepat:
  • Ensure the device is placed in a location free from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources.
  • For HTC-1, ensure the built-in sensor vents are not obstructed.
  • For HTC-2, ensure the external probe is correctly positioned for outdoor readings.
  • Note that the humidity accuracy is +/-10% RH, and temperature accuracy is within typical ranges for such devices.
• Penggera Tidak Berbunyi:
  • Verify that the alarm time is set correctly.
  • Ensure the alarm function is activated (alarm icon visible on display).
• Display Shows "NO backlight":
  • This device does not feature a backlight. This is normal operation and not a fault.
