1. Lebihview

The ZeroWater ExtremeLife™ Chrome Faucet Mount filtration system is designed to provide cleaner, better-tasting drinking water directly from your kitchen faucet. It is WQA certified to reduce PFOA/PFOS, Chlorine, and Particulates Class I. Additionally, it has been 3rd party tested for up to 98% lead reduction. Featuring superior carbon fiber technology, the ExtremeLife™ filter lasts up to 6 months or 400 gallons, offering 4 times the filter life compared to leading brands (filter life can vary depending on water quality).

Your ZeroWater Chrome Faucet Mount package includes the following components:

• 1 x Chrome Faucet Mount Unit
• 1 x ExtremeLife™ Filter
• 1 x Adapter Kit (containing various adapters and O-rings for different faucet types)

3. Persediaan & Pemasangan

The ZeroWater Chrome Faucet Mount is designed for easy installation directly onto most standard kitchen faucets. It does not fit drop-down faucets. Follow these steps for proper setup:

1. Prepare Your Faucet: Remove the existing aerator from your faucet. Ensure the faucet threads are clean and free of debris.
2. Pilih Penyesuai yang Betul: The included adapter kit contains various sizes and types of adapters and O-rings. Identify the adapter that best fits your faucet's threading. If your faucet has internal threads, use the appropriate adapter. If it has external threads, the unit may attach directly.
3. Attach the Faucet Mount:

   • Align the faucet mount unit with the adapter and hand-tighten the collar clockwise until it is secure. Do not overtighten.
   • Ensure the unit is firmly attached and does not wobble.

   • Unscrew the filter housing cover from the main unit.
   • Insert the ExtremeLife™ filter cartridge into the housing. Ensure it is seated correctly.
   • Replace the filter housing cover and hand-tighten.
5. Siram Sistem: Before first use, turn on your cold water faucet and let the water run through the filter for at least 5 minutes. This flushes out any carbon dust and prepares the filter for use.

4. Arahan Operasi

Using your ZeroWater Faucet Mount is straightforward:

• Air yang ditapis: To dispense filtered water, pull the small lever on the side of the unit. Water will flow through the filter and out the main spout.
• Air Tidak Ditapis: To dispense unfiltered tap water (for washing dishes, hands, etc.), push the small lever on the side of the unit. Water will bypass the filter and flow directly from the faucet.
• Penunjuk Kehidupan Penapis: The unit features a built-in Filter Life Indicator. This LED light will glow green when the filter is good and will turn red when the filter needs to be replaced.

5. Penyelenggaraan

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ZeroWater Faucet Mount:

• Penggantian Penapis:
  • Replace the ExtremeLife™ filter when the Filter Life Indicator turns red, or approximately every 6 months / 400 gallons, whichever comes first. Filter life can vary based on water quality and usage.
  • To replace, unscrew the filter housing cover, remove the old filter, insert a new ExtremeLife™ filter, and reattach the cover.
  • Always flush a new filter for 5 minutes before first use.
• Pembersihan:
  • Wipe the exterior of the faucet mount unit with a soft, damp kain mengikut keperluan.

  • Periodically check the faucet aerator (if applicable) for mineral buildup and clean if necessary to maintain good water flow.

6. Penyelesaian masalah

If you encounter any issues with your ZeroWater Chrome Faucet Mount, refer to the following common solutions:

• Leaks from the Unit:
  • Ensure the swivel collar is hand-tightened securely onto the faucet threads.
  • Check that the correct adapter and O-rings are used and properly seated.
  • Verify the filter cartridge is correctly installed and the housing cover is tight.
• Aliran Air Lambat:
  • A slow flow rate, especially for filtered water, may indicate a clogged or exhausted filter. Replace the filter if the indicator is red or if it's past its recommended lifespan.
  • Check your faucet's aerator for mineral buildup and clean it.
• Filter Life Indicator Not Working:
  • The indicator is battery-operated. If it's not lighting up, the battery may need replacement. Refer to the full product manual for battery replacement instructions.
  • Ensure the filter is properly seated, as this can affect sensor contact.
• Water Tastes Unfiltered:
  • Ensure the lever is in the correct position for filtered water.
  • The filter may be exhausted. Check the indicator light and replace the filter if necessary.
  • Ensure the filter was properly flushed for 5 minutes after installation or replacement.
