4. Persediaan

4.1 Pemasangan Bateri

1. Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the thermometer.
2. Luncurkan penutup bateri terbuka.
3. Masukkan dua bateri AAA, pastikan kekutuban (+ dan -) betul.
4. Tutup penutup bateri dengan selamat.

Nota: The thermometer requires 2 AAA batteries (not always included). Ensure batteries are inserted correctly to avoid damage.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1 Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa

• Untuk Menghidupkan: Press the Switch/Measure button once. The display will show the last reading or '---' indicating it's ready for measurement.
• Untuk Mematikan: The device will automatically shut off after 30 seconds of inactivity. You can also press and hold the Switch/Measure button for a few seconds to manually power it off.

5.2 Forehead Measurement

1. Ensure the probe cover is attached to the thermometer.
2. Point the thermometer at the center of the forehead, approximately 1-2 inches (1-3 cm) away.
3. Press the Switch/Measure button once. The temperature will be displayed within 1 second.

5.3 Ear Measurement

1. Gently remove the probe cover to expose the ear probe.
2. Carefully insert the ear probe into the ear canal.
3. Press the Switch/Measure button once. The temperature will be displayed within 1 second.

5.4 Object/Room Temperature Measurement

The thermometer can also measure the temperature of objects (e.g., baby bottles) or the ambient room temperature. Refer to the quick user guide for specific instructions on switching to these modes, as the method may vary slightly depending on the firmware version.

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), open the battery cover. Inside the battery compartment, locate a small switch. Toggle this switch to select your desired temperature unit.

5.6 Mod Senyap

The thermometer features a silent mode for taking measurements without sound, which is ideal for not disturbing sleeping infants or children. To activate/deactivate silent mode, press and hold the Switch/Measure button while the device is off until 'OFF' or 'ON' appears on the screen, indicating the mode change.

5.7 Smart Fever Indicator

If a high temperature is detected (typically 99.5°F / 37.5°C or above), the thermometer will provide a gentle vibration alert. The LED display may also change color (e.g., to red) to indicate a fever, depending on the specific model and settings.

The thermometer stores previous temperature readings. To access the memory, press the 'MEM' button (if available) or refer to the quick user guide for specific instructions on your device.
