Follow these steps for proper installation of your Motoguard HP11 Handguards:

  1. Penyediaan: Park your motorcycle on a stable surface. Ensure the engine is off and the ignition key is removed.
  2. Remove Existing Bar Ends (if applicable): If your motorcycle has existing bar end weights or mirrors mounted to the bar ends, carefully remove them.
  3. Assemble Mounting Brackets: Attach the universal mounting brackets to the handguards. Ensure the orientation is correct for left and right sides.

  4. Position Handguards: Slide the inner clamp of the handguard mounting system onto the handlebar, near the grip and controls. Position the outer end of the handguard into the handlebar end.

Operating LED Functions

The Motoguard HP11 Handguards feature integrated LED turn signals and Daytime Running Lights (DRL). These can be connected to your motorcycle's electrical system for enhanced visibility.

Connect the corresponding wires from the handguards (typically yellow or orange) to the positive (+) wire of your motorcycle's turn signals. Connect the ground wire (typically black) to a suitable ground point on the motorcycle.
  • Daytime Running Lights (DRL): For the DRL function, connect the dedicated DRL wire (typically white or red) from the handguards to a switched 12V power source on your motorcycle that is active when the ignition is on. Connect the ground wire (typically black) to a suitable ground point.
