1. Pengenalan

3. Persediaan

3.1. Pemasangan Bateri

1. Remove the belt clip by lifting the tab and sliding the clip upwards.
2. Cari penutup petak bateri di belakang radio.
3. Use a coin or flat tool to gently pry open the battery compartment cover.
4. Insert 3 x 1000mAh NI-MH AA rechargeable batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

3.2. Lampiran Lanyard

To attach the lanyard, thread the thin loop of the lanyard through the small hole at the top of the radio, above the belt clip attachment point. Then, pass the larger part of the lanyard through the loop you just created and pull tight to secure it.

3.3. Mengecas

Connect one of the provided micro-USB charging cables to the charging port at the bottom of each radio. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., power bank, vehicle adapter, or wall adapter). The radios feature excellent safety with overcharge, overvoltage, and short circuit protection. Charging for approximately 3 hours provides a standby time of about 62 hours.

4. Arahan Operasi

4.1. Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa

Tekan dan tahan butang MENU/Kuasa button (located in the center below the screen) for a few seconds to turn the radio on or off.

4.2. Pemilihan Saluran

Dengan radio dihidupkan, tekan butang MENU button once. The channel number will flash. Use the Up or Bawah arrow buttons to select your desired channel (1-22). Press MENU again to confirm your selection or wait a few seconds for it to automatically set.

4.3. Kod Privasi (CTCSS/DCS)

To ensure private communication, you can set privacy codes. After selecting a channel, press MENU twice to access CTCSS codes (38 available) or three times for DCS codes (97 available). Use the Up or Bawah arrow buttons to select a code. Both radios must be on the same channel and privacy code to communicate.

4.4. Push-to-Talk (PTT)

Untuk menghantar, tekan dan tahan butang PTT button (located on the left side of the radio). Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT butang untuk mendengar.

4.5. Nada Panggilan

Your radio has 10 selectable call tones. To change the call tone, press MENU until 'C' appears on the screen. Use the Up or Bawah arrow buttons to cycle through the tones. Press MENU untuk mengesahkan.

4.8. Fungsi Pengimbasan

Untuk mengimbas saluran aktif, tekan IMBAS button. The radio will automatically scan through channels and stop on an active one. Press IMBAS sekali lagi untuk berhenti mengimbas.

4.9. VOX (Voice Activated Transmission)

VOX allows for hands-free operation. To activate, press MENU until 'VOX' appears. Use the Up or Bawah arrow buttons to select a sensitivity level (1-17). A higher number indicates higher sensitivity. Press MENU to confirm. When VOX is active, the radio will transmit automatically when it detects your voice.

4.10. Amaran Cuaca NOAA

Your radio is equipped with NOAA Weather Alert. To access weather channels, press and hold the IMBAS button. The radio will automatically scan through 24 available weather (WX) band channels and lock onto the strongest one to alert you of severe weather updates. NOAA Weather Alert will sound an alarm if there is a risk of severe weather in your area.

4.11. Beep Roger

The Roger Beep is a tone transmitted when you release the PTT button, signaling to other users that you have finished speaking. To enable or disable the Roger Beep, navigate through the MENU options until you find the Roger Beep setting and toggle it on or off.

4.12. Keserasian

These radios are compatible with other FRS radios regardless of brand, as long as they are on the same channel and privacy code.

5. Penyelenggaraan

5.1. Penjagaan Bateri

The included 1000mAh NI-MH AA rechargeable batteries provide approximately 62 hours of standby time. For optimal battery life, fully charge the batteries before first use and whenever the low battery indicator appears. Avoid overcharging for extended periods.
