4. Operasi
4.1 3-Stage Proses Pengecasan

The graph above illustrates the 3-stage charging process (Bulk, Absorption, Float) that fully charges the battery.
- Bulk: Charges the battery at the maximum current until it reaches a set voltage.
- Penyerapan: Caj pada vol malartage, reducing current as the battery approaches full charge.
- Terapung: Maintains the battery at a constant, lower voltage untuk mengelakkan pelepasan diri.

4.4 Charging Current Distribution (Solar + Alternator)

When using both solar and alternator inputs, the current is split. For example, the RBC30DIS model will provide 15A from solar and 15A from the alternator, totaling 30A.

- Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and corrosion. Clean any corroded terminals.
- Inspect the charger for any physical damage or signs of overheating.
- Ensure the area around the charger is free from dust and debris to maintain proper ventilation.
- Verify that the battery type settings are correct for your installed batteries.
6. Penyelesaian masalah
If you encounter issues with your DC-DC Charger, refer to the following basic troubleshooting steps:
- Tiada Kuasa/LED Mati: Check all battery connections and fuses. Ensure the starter battery voltage is above the cut-in threshold.
- Error Indicator On: Refer to the LED Indicators section (4.2) for the specific error type (over-voltage, over-temperature, reverse polarity, etc.) and take corrective action.
- Bateri Tidak Dicas: Verify that the correct battery type is selected using the DIP switches. Check solar panel connections and output, and ensure the alternator is functioning correctly.
- Reduced Charging Current: Ensure the LC port is not connected if full current is desired. Check cable sizes against recommendations in section 3.3.
