• Never refuel a hot or running engine. Allow the engine to cool before adding fuel.
• Store fuel in an approved container in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources.
• Before initial use, ensure the engine oil reservoir is filled to the correct level. ENGINE OIL IS NOT INCLUDED AND MUST BE ADDED UPON UN-BOXING.
• Only use this engine for approved applications as described in this manual.

The AlphaWorks 7HP 212cc OHV 4-Stroke Gas Engine is a horizontal shaft engine designed for various power equipment applications. It features a recoil start system and an air-cooled design for reliable performance.

3. Persediaan dan Persediaan Awal

3.1 Membongkar

Carefully remove the engine from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.

3.2 Menambah Minyak Enjin

The engine is shipped without oil. It is critical to add the correct type and amount of oil before starting the engine for the first time.

3. Remove the cap/dipstick and slowly add recommended engine oil (e.g., SAE 10W-30) until the oil level reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.

3.3 Menambah Bahan Api

Use fresh, clean unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Ethanol content should not exceed 10% (E10).

1. Pastikan enjin dimatikan dan sejuk.

3. Tanggalkan penutup bahan api dengan perlahan.
4. Fill the fuel tank carefully, avoiding spills. Do not fill above the maximum fill line or to the very top of the tank opening. The maximum capacity is approximately 0.7 gallons.

4. Arahan Operasi

4.1 Starting the Engine (Recoil Start)

1. Ensure the engine is properly mounted and connected to the equipment.
2. Open the fuel valve (if equipped).
3. Move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" or closed position (for cold starts). For warm starts, the choke may not be necessary.
4. Move the throttle lever to the "FAST" or full throttle position.
5. Grasp the recoil starter handle firmly. Pull slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly to start the engine. Do not let the rope snap back; guide it gently.
6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "RUN" or open position as the engine warms up.
7. Adjust the throttle to the desired operating speed.

4.2 Menghentikan Enjin

1. Move the throttle lever to the "SLOW" or idle position.

5.1 Penyelenggaraan Penapis Udara

Inspect the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions. Clean or replace as needed to prevent dirt from entering the engine.

• Remove the foam element. Wash in warm, soapy water, rinse, and allow to air dry completely. Lightly oil the foam element with engine oil and squeeze out excess.
• Replace the foam element and air filter cover.

5.2 Pemeriksaan dan Penggantian Palam Pencucuh

Inspect the spark plug for wear, carbon buildup, or damage. Replace if necessary.

• Recommended Spark Plug: Torch F6RTC
• Electrode Clearance: 0.7-0.8mm

5.3 Prosedur Tukar Minyak

Change the engine oil after the first 5-10 hours of operation, and then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.

2. Stop the engine and place a suitable container beneath the oil drain plug.
3. Remove the oil drain plug and oil fill cap/dipstick to allow the oil to drain completely.
