4.4 Alat Kawalan Jauh

The included 2-in-1 remote control is designed for ease of use, allowing you to control both the decoder and the main functions of your television.

Refer to the remote control diagram for specific button functions. The TV control section (top part) can be programmed to operate your television's power, input, and volume.

5. Persediaan

5.1 Sambungan Fizikal

1. Connect Satellite Cable: Connect the satellite cable from your dish to the DUDUK DALAM port on the rear of the decoder.
2. Sambung ke TV: Use an HDMI cable (recommended for HD quality) to connect the HDMI port on the decoder to an HDMI input on your television. Alternatively, use a SCART cable for older TVs.
3. Insert Smartcard: Before powering on, gently insert the Tivusat Smartcard into the side Smart Card reader with the chip facing down and towards the decoder. Make sure to note down the card number before inserting it.
4. Sambungkan Kuasa: Connect the external power supply to the DC DALAM 12V 1.5A port on the decoder, then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

5.2 Tatarajah Awal

1. Hidupkan kuasa: Turn on your TV and the decoder. Select the correct HDMI or SCART input on your TV.

5.3 Tivusat Smartcard Activation

To access Tivusat channels, your Smartcard must be activated. This process typically requires an Italian fiscal code. If you do not have one, activation may not be possible in certain regions like Belgium.

1. Prepare Information: Have your Tivusat Smartcard number (printed on the back of the card) and your Italian fiscal code readily available.

6. Arahan Operasi

6.1 TV Asas Viewing

• Pemilihan Saluran: Gunakan CH+ / CH- buttons on the remote control to change channels. You can also enter the channel number directly using the numeric keypad.
• Kawalan Kelantangan: Gunakan VOL+ / vol- butang untuk melaraskan kelantangan.
• Redam: Tekan ke HILANGKAN butang untuk menyenyapkan audio buat sementara waktu.

6.2 Panduan Program Elektronik (EPG)

Tekan ke EPG button on your remote control to access the Electronic Program Guide. This displays program schedules for current and upcoming broadcasts, allowing you to plan your viewing.

6.3 PVR and Timeshift Functions

The decoder supports Personal Video Recording (PVR) and Timeshift functions, allowing you to record programs and pause live TV. A USB storage device (not included) must be connected to the USB port for these functions to work.

• Rakaman: Semasa menonton rancangan, tekan butang REC button on the remote to start recording. You can also schedule recordings via the EPG.
• Timeshift (Live Pause): Tekan ke JEDA button during live TV to pause the broadcast. Press BERMAIN to resume from where you left off.
• Main balik: Access your recorded programs through the PVR menu (usually a dedicated button or via the main menu).

6.4 Pemain Media

Sambungkan peranti storan USB yang mengandungi media files (videos, music, photos) to the USB port. Access the Media Player function through the main menu to browse and play your files.

7. Penyelenggaraan

7.1 Pembersihan

Ensure the decoder is powered off and unplugged before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals.

7.2 Kemas Kini Perisian

8. Penyelesaian masalah

• Tiada Isyarat / Skrin Hitam:
  • Check all cable connections (satellite, HDMI/SCART, power) are secure.
  • Ensure your TV is set to the correct input source (e.g., HDMI1, AV).
  • Verify that your satellite dish is correctly aligned and not obstructed.
  • Perform a channel rescan through the decoder's menu.
• "Encrypted Channel" Message:
  • Ensure your Tivusat Smartcard is correctly inserted into the side slot.
  • Verify that your Tivusat Smartcard has been successfully activated on the official Tivusat website. Activation can take up to 10 minutes to process.
  • Note for users outside Italy: Tivusat Smartcard activation typically requires an Italian fiscal code. Users in countries like Belgium may face difficulties activating the card without this.
• Alat Kawalan Jauh Tidak Menjawab:

  • Check for available software updates.
• Butang SOS:
  • The decoder features an SOS button (refer to Product Overview section 7.3 image). Pressing this button can initiate a new channel search without entering the menu and can reset the decoder while preserving your system settings.
