4. Installation (Mounting Bracket)

The included Side Mount, Snap-In Bracket allows you to conveniently carry your U-lock on your bicycle frame.

1. Pilih Lokasi Pemasangan: Choose a suitable location on your bicycle frame (e.g., seat tube, down tube) that does not interfere with pedaling, steering, or other accessories.
2. Lampirkan Kurungan: Secure the two halves of the bracket around the chosen frame tube. Use the provided screws to tighten the bracket firmly. Ensure the bracket is oriented so the lock can be easily inserted and removed.
3. Insert U-Lock: Slide the U-lock into the bracket until it snaps securely into place. Verify that the lock is held firmly and does not rattle during transport.

5. Operasi

1. Pilih Objek Selamat: Always lock your bicycle to a fixed, immovable object such as a bike rack, lamppost, or sturdy railing.

   • Place the U-lock around the bicycle frame (preferably the main triangle) and the fixed object.
   • For added security, try to include one of the wheels (front or rear) within the U-lock's shackle along with the frame and the fixed object.
3. Masukkan Belenggu: Align the ends of the shackle with the openings in the crossbar (lock body). Push the shackle firmly into the crossbar.
4. Turn Key to Lock: Insert one of the provided keys into the cylinder and turn it to the locked position. Remove the key. Ensure the shackle is fully engaged and cannot be pulled apart from the crossbar.
