2. Persediaan

2.1 Pemeriksaan Awal

Upon unpacking, verify that all components are present: the calculator unit, a slide-on hard case, a warranty card with serial number, a warranty term sheet, and this user manual.

2.2 Sumber Kuasa

The Casio FX-350MS 2nd Gen calculator operates on a single button cell battery. The battery is typically pre-installed. If the display is dim or unresponsive, the battery may need replacement (refer to Section 4.2).

2.3 Attaching the Hard Case

The calculator comes with a slide-on hard case designed to protect the unit from damage. Slide the calculator into the case from the bottom until it clicks securely into place. To remove, gently slide it out.

2.4 Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa

• Untuk menghidupkan: Tekan butang [HIDUP] kunci.
• Untuk mematikan: Tekan [SHIFT] kemudian [AC] (OFF). The calculator also features an auto-power off function to conserve battery life.

3. Arahan Operasi

3.1 Keypad Layout and Display

The calculator features a color-coded keypad for easy differentiation of functions. The 2-line display shows both the input expression and the calculation result simultaneously.

3.2 Operasi Aritmetik Asas

Enter numbers using the numeric keys and perform operations using [+], [-], [×], [÷]. Tekan [=] untuk mendapatkan hasilnya.

The calculator supports 240 functions, including:

• Trigonometrical Functions: sin, cos, tan, and their inverses (sin^-1, cos^-1, begitu^-1).

3.4 Pemilihan Mod

The calculator includes independent memory and variable memories:

• M+ / M-: Adds/subtracts the displayed value to/from the independent memory.
• STO (Store): Stores a value into a variable (A-F, X, Y, M).
• RCL (Recall): Recalls a value from a variable.

4. Penyelenggaraan

4.1 Pembersihan

Wipe the calculator with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. The keys feature water-resistant printing for durability.

4.2 Penggantian Bateri

When the display becomes dim or calculations are incorrect, the button cell battery may need replacement. Open the battery compartment on the back of the unit, replace with a new button cell (e.g., LR44 or equivalent), and ensure correct polarity. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.

5. Penyelesaian masalah

5.1 Isu Paparan

• Tiada Paparan: Ensure the calculator is turned on. If still unresponsive, replace the battery.

5.2 Incorrect Results

• Mod Semak: Ensure the calculator is in the correct mode for your calculation (e.g., DEG for degrees, RAD for radians).
• Syntax Error: Review your input expression for correct mathematical syntax.
• Ingatan Kosong: Clear all memory and variables if unexpected values are affecting calculations.

5.3 Menetapkan Semula Kalkulator

If the calculator behaves erratically, a full reset may be necessary. Press [SHIFT] kemudian [CLR] (Clear) and select the desired clear option (e.g., Mode, Mem, All). Clearing 'All' will return the calculator to its initial default settings.
