The Escort M1 Dash Camera is designed for a plug-n-play setup, integrating with compatible Escort radar detectors.

4.1 Keserasian

The M1 Dash Cam is compatible with the following Escort radar detectors:

  • Escort IX, Max 360, Max 360C
  • Passport Max, Passport Max 2
  • Redline ex, Escort Ixc, Max II platinum

Detectors requiring an optional Escort StickyCup mounting bracket: Passport X80, Solo S4.

4.2 Pemasangan

  1. Attach the M1 Dash Cam to your compatible Escort radar detector's mounting bracket. The camera is designed to clip directly onto the suction cup mount of the radar detector.
  2. Connect the short RJ-11 power cord from the M1 Dash Cam into the designated port on your radar detector.
  3. Ensure the radar detector's power cord is connected to the vehicle's 12V power outlet. The M1 will draw power through the radar detector.
  4. Position the dash cam to ensure a clear view of the road ahead, adjusting the angle as needed.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1 Rakaman Automatik

The M1 Dash Cam is designed for automatic operation. Once connected and powered, it will automatically begin recording when your vehicle starts and stop recording when the vehicle is turned off.

5.2 Rakaman Kecemasan

In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-Sensor will automatically trigger an emergency recording, protecting the relevant video segment from being overwritten by loop recording. You can also manually trigger an emergency recording by pressing the dedicated button on the dash cam.

The Status Indicator LED on the dash cam provides visual feedback on its current state:

The Escort M1 App (available for iPhone and Android) allows you to control dash cam functionalities, view hidup footage, and manage recorded videos.

  1. Download the Escort M1 App from your device's app store.
  2. Ensure your M1 Dash Cam is powered on.
  3. Enable Wi-Fi on your smartphone and connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the Escort M1 (e.g., "Escort M1"). The default password is often 12345678, but it is recommended to change this for security.
  4. Open the Escort M1 App. The app should automatically connect to the dash cam.

  • Pengurusan Video: Browse, download, and delete recorded videos from the Micro SD card.
