3. Persediaan dan Pemasangan
The CIARRA CBCS5913A range hood is designed for integrated mounting within a kitchen cabinet. Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety.
3.1 Dimensi Pemasangan
Refer to the diagram below for the necessary cabinet opening and clearances. Ensure sufficient space for the hood and ducting (if applicable).

3.2 Memasang Tudung
The hood is secured to the underside of the cabinet. Follow these general steps:
- Prepare the cabinet opening according to the dimensions provided.
- Position the hood into the opening.
- Secure the hood using appropriate screws, typically through pre-drilled holes in the hood's casing into the cabinet structure.

3.3 Mod Pengudaraan
The hood supports two ventilation modes:
- Ducted (Extraction) Mode: Air is extracted from the kitchen and expelled outside through a ducting system. This requires a connection to an external vent.
- Mod Edaran Semula: Air is filtered through an optional carbon filter (CBCF005, not included) to remove odors and then recirculated back into the kitchen. No external ducting is required for this mode.

4. Arahan Operasi
The CIARRA CBCS5913A range hood is operated via intuitive push-button controls located on the front panel.

4.1 Fungsi Panel Kawalan:
- Butang Kuasa (⏻): Tekan untuk menghidupkan atau mematikan hud.
- Fan Speed Buttons (↻, ↻↻, ↻↻↻): Select from three different fan speeds to adjust extraction power according to cooking needs.
- Light Button (☀): Tekan untuk menghidupkan atau mematikan lampu LED.
4.2 Usage Tips:
- Turn on the hood a few minutes before you start cooking to create an airflow pattern.
- Use the appropriate fan speed for the amount of steam and odors generated.

5. Penyelenggaraan
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your CIARRA range hood. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.
5.1 Membersihkan Penapis Grease
The aluminum mesh grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain extraction efficiency.
- To remove the filter, locate the release latch and pull it down. The filter will detach.
- Clean the filters using warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before re-installing.
- To re-install, align the filter with the slots and push until it clicks into place.

5.2 Menggantikan Penapis Karbon (Mod Edaran Semula Sahaja)
If your hood is operating in recirculation mode, the optional CBCF005 carbon filters need to be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
- Remove the aluminum grease filters as described above.
- The carbon filters are typically attached to the motor housing. Follow the specific instructions provided with the carbon filters for removal and installation.
- Dispose of old carbon filters responsibly.
5.3 Cleaning the Hood Surface
Wipe the stainless steel surface with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
