4. Persediaan

4.1 Pemasangan Bateri

The Topsung M880 radio requires 6 AA batteries (not included) for operation. To install batteries:

Cari penutup petak bateri di belakang radio.
Tekan ke bawah pada selak dan luncurkan penutup ke bawah untuk membuka.
Masukkan 6 bateri AA, pastikan kekutuban (+/-) betul seperti yang ditunjukkan di dalam petak.

4.2 Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa

To power on the radio, rotate the power/volume knob clockwise until you hear a click and a short tone. To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1 Pemilihan Saluran

Your M880 radio has 22 main channels and 121 privacy codes. To select a channel:

Tekan ke MENU butang sekali. Nombor saluran akan berkelip pada skrin LCD.
Gunakan UP or TURUN arrow buttons to select your desired main channel (1-22).
Tekan MENU again to confirm the channel selection.
To set a privacy code, press MENU twice. The privacy code will flash. Use UP or TURUN to select a code (0-121). Press MENU untuk mengesahkan.

Note: For successful communication, both radios must be set to the same main channel and privacy code.

5.2 Menghantar dan Menerima

Untuk menghantar, tekan dan tahan butang PTT (Push-To-Talk) butang yang terletak di sisi radio. Bercakap dengan jelas ke dalam mikrofon. Lepaskan butang PTT untuk mendengar respons.

5.3 Fungsi VOX (Bebas Tangan)

The VOX function allows you to transmit by speaking without pressing the PTT button. To activate/deactivate VOX:

Gunakan UP or TURUN arrow buttons to select the VOX sensitivity level (1-3, with 3 being most sensitive) or OFF to disable.

To prevent accidental changes to your settings, activate the keypad lock. Press and hold the KUNCI button (usually associated with the MENU button) until the lock icon appears on the LCD. Repeat to unlock.

To send a call tone to alert other users on the same channel, press the PANGGILAN button. You can select from 10 different call tones, including 5 animal call tones, via the MENU settings.

5.6 Fungsi Monitor

5.7 Fungsi Imbasan

To find active channels, press the IMBAS button. The radio will scan through all 22 channels and stop on any active channel. Press IMBAS sekali lagi untuk berhenti mengimbas.

5.8 Lampu Suluh Terbina dalam

Untuk mengaktifkan lampu suluh terbina dalam, tekan CAHAYA button (usually a dedicated button or combined with another function). Press again to turn off.

6. Range and Communication Tips

The effective communication range of your Topsung M880 radio depends on several factors, including terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference, and obstructions. For optimal range:

Communicate in open areas with minimal obstructions.
Avoid transmitting near large metal structures or dense foliage.
Ensure batteries are fully charged or replaced when low.

7. Penyelenggaraan

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Topsung M880 radio:
