Before first use, fully charge the DieHard 71688 unit. Connect the unit to a standard AC wall outlet using an extension cord (not included) and the integrated charging port on the back. The digital display will indicate the battery charge level. - Turn the "Jump Start" switch on the DieHard unit to the "ON" position.
- Attempt to start the vehicle. If it doesn't start immediately, wait a few minutes and try again.
- Once the vehicle starts, turn the "Jump Start" switch to "OFF".
