3. Persediaan

3.1 Pemasangan Bateri

  1. Cari petak bateri di belakang peranti (rujuk Rajah 2.2).
  2. Geser buka penutup petak bateri.
  3. Masukkan dua bateri AAA 1.5V, pastikan kekutuban (+/-) betul.
  4. Tutup penutup petak bateri dengan selamat.

3.2 Menghidupkan/Mematikan

  • To power on, press any button. The device will perform a self-test and display the last measurement mode.
  • The device features an automatic shutdown function to save power. It will power off after a period of inactivity.

4. Arahan Operasi

4.1 Pengukuran Asas

  1. Pastikan peranti dihidupkan.
  2. Place the probe perpendicularly and firmly onto the surface of the coated material.
  3. The measurement reading will be displayed on the screen. The device will automatically identify the substrate type (Fe for magnetic, NFe for non-magnetic).

4.2 Mod Pengukuran

  • Single Measurement (SNG): Displays one measurement at a time.

4.3 Pemilihan Unit

Tekan ke UNIT button to switch between metric (µm, mm) and imperial (mil) units. The selected unit will be displayed on the screen.

4.4 Penentukuran

Calibration ensures measurement accuracy. It is recommended to calibrate the device when using it in different environments or if significant temperature differences occur.

  1. Zero-point Calibration:
    • Place the probe directly on a bare, uncoated metal substrate (magnetic or non-magnetic, depending on the measurement type).
    • Tekan dan tahan butang CAL button until "0.0" or "CAL" appears, indicating zero calibration is complete.
  2. Penentukuran Offset:
    • Perform zero-point calibration first.
    • Place a calibration foil of known thickness on the bare substrate.
    • Place the probe on the calibration foil.
    • Adjust the displayed value to match the known thickness of the foil using the UNIT/MODE buttons (if applicable, specific steps may vary by firmware).

  3. Basic Calibration:

5. Penyelenggaraan

5.1 Pembersihan

  • Keep the probe tip clean and free from debris to ensure accurate measurements.

5.2 Penyimpanan

  • Store the device in its protective case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5.3 Penggantian Bateri

  • When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace both AAA batteries promptly.

6. Penyelesaian masalah
