• Use only compatible Ni-MH/Ni-CD rechargeable batteries with this charger. Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Ensure correct polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries into the charger.
• Unplug the charger from the power outlet when not in use or during thunderstorms.

5. Persediaan

1. Buka Pembungkusan Pengecas: Carefully remove the EBL Universal Charger and all accessories from its packaging.
2. Sambungkan Kuasa: Plug the AC power adapter into the charger's input port, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet. The LCD display will illuminate.
3. Masukkan Bateri: Open the transparent cover of the charger. Insert the rechargeable batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, or 9V) into their respective slots, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). The LCD display will show the charging status for each battery.

6. Arahan Operasi

6.1 Mengecas Bateri

1. After inserting batteries, the LCD display will show the current charge level and charging animation for AA/AAA/C/D batteries. For 9V batteries, an LED indicator will light up.
2. The charger automatically detects the battery type and initiates the appropriate charging process.
3. Once batteries are fully charged, the charger will switch to trickle charging to maintain full capacity and prevent overcharging. The LCD display will show a full battery icon.

6.2 Fungsi Pelepasan

The charger features a discharge function to optimize battery performance and extend lifespan, especially for Ni-CD batteries which can suffer from memory effect.

• To initiate discharge, press the blue button located below the LCD screen. The charger will begin discharging the batteries.
• Once fully discharged, the charger will automatically switch back to charging mode.

7. Penyelenggaraan

• Pembersihan: Disconnect the charger from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the charger's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storan: Store the charger and batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For D and C size batteries, utilize the provided durable storage cases to protect them from physical damage and short circuits.
• Penjagaan Bateri: For optimal battery lifespan, it is recommended to fully discharge and then fully recharge batteries periodically, especially if they have not been used for an extended period.

8. Penyelesaian masalah

• Bateri tidak dicas:
  • Pastikan pengecas dipasang dengan betul ke salur keluar kuasa yang berfungsi.
  • Verify that batteries are inserted with correct polarity (+/-).
  • Check if the batteries are rechargeable (Ni-MH/Ni-CD). Non-rechargeable batteries will not charge.
  • If the LCD shows an error, the battery might be damaged or incompatible. Try a different battery.
• Pengecas Terlalu Panas:
  • Slight warmth during charging is normal. If the charger becomes excessively hot, unplug it immediately.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the charger. Do not cover it during operation.
• Pengecasan tidak konsisten:
  • Pastikan sesentuh bateri bersih.
  • Use the discharge function periodically to prevent memory effect, especially for Ni-CD batteries.
