3. Persediaan

3.1 Pemasangan Bateri

1. Cari petak bateri di belakang meter.
2. Buka penutup petak.
3. Masukkan empat bateri AA, memastikan kekutuban yang betul.

3.2 Sambungan Probe

1. Carefully remove the protective cap from the LabSen 811 spear pH electrode.
2. Connect the BNC connector of the electrode cable to the BNC port on the top of the meter. Twist gently to secure.
3. Connect the temperature sensor plug (if separate) to its designated port on the meter.
4. Ensure all connections are firm to prevent signal interference.

4. Arahan Operasi

4.1 Hidupkan/Mati Kuasa

• Tekan ke kuasa button (located on the left side of the meter's control panel) to turn the meter on.
• Tekan dan tahan butang kuasa button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the meter off.

4.2 Penentukuran

Regular calibration is essential for accurate pH measurements. It is recommended to calibrate the meter before each use or at least daily.

1. Prepare fresh pH 4.00, pH 7.00, and pH 10.01 buffer solutions.
2. Rinse the electrode thoroughly with distilled water and blot dry with a lint-free tissue.
3. Immerse the electrode into the pH 7.00 buffer solution. Ensure the spear tip is fully submerged.
4. Tekan ke CAL button. The meter will automatically recognize the buffer and begin calibration. Wait for the stable icon to appear.
5. Once the first point is calibrated, rinse the electrode and immerse it into the pH 4.00 buffer solution. Press CAL sekali lagi.
6. Repeat the process for pH 10.01 buffer solution if a three-point calibration is desired.
7. After successful calibration, the meter will display the calibration results and return to measurement mode.

5.1 Electrode Cleaning

• After each measurement, rinse the electrode thoroughly with distilled or deionized water.
• If the electrode becomes contaminated with oil, grease, or protein residues (common in food samples), clean it with a mild detergent solution or a specialized electrode cleaning solution.
• Rinse again with distilled water after cleaning.

5.2 Electrode Storage

• Always store the electrode with its protective cap filled with electrode storage solution (or pH 4.00 buffer solution if storage solution is unavailable). Never store the electrode dry or in distilled water.
• Ensure the storage solution level covers the spear tip.
• For long-term storage, ensure the electrode is clean and the storage solution is fresh.

5.3 Meter Care

• Keep the meter clean and dry. Wipe the exterior with a damp kain jika perlu.
