3.2 Sambungan Paip

The sensor uses G3/8 inch BSP (British Standard Pipe) threads. If connecting to NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads, it is recommended to use thread seal tape to ensure a watertight connection.

Ensure the sensor is installed with the correct flow direction. An arrow indicating the flow direction is marked on the sensor body. Align this arrow with the direction of water flow in your system.

4. Prinsip Operasi

The DIGITEN G3/8 Water Flow Sensor operates on the Hall effect principle. Inside the sensor, a small turbine wheel rotates as water flows through it. A magnet is attached to this turbine, and a Hall effect sensor detects the magnetic field changes as the magnet passes by. Each rotation of the turbine generates an electrical pulse.

The frequency of these pulses is directly proportional to the water flow rate. The relationship is given by the formula: F = 23 * Q, di mana:

  • Q is the flow rate in Liters per Minute (L/Min).
