4. Operation: Converting Your Futon

2. Push the backrest up until it locks into the upright sofa position.
3. Gently lower the seat frame.

Nota: For Queen size futons, it may be easier for one person to lift the mattress slightly while another person adjusts the frame, especially when converting from bed to sofa.
