  1. Locate the battery compartment cover, typically on the handle of the thermometer.

For example, if you are 10 inches away from the target, the measurement spot will be 1 inch in diameter. To ensure accurate readings, make sure the target area is larger than the spot size.

Emissivity is a measure of an object's ability to emit infrared energy. Different materials have different emissivity values. For accurate measurements, adjust the thermometer's emissivity setting to match the material being measured. Refer to the thermometer's display for the current emissivity setting (e.g., "EMS 0.95"). Consult a standard emissivity table for common materials.

Min/Max/Avg/Diff Modes

The thermometer can display various statistical temperature readings:

  • MIN: Displays the minimum temperature recorded during a continuous measurement.
  • MAKS: Displays the maximum temperature recorded during a continuous measurement.
  • AVG: Displays the average temperature recorded during a continuous measurement.
  • DIF: Displays the difference between the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded.

Use the "SEL" button to cycle through these display modes.

Membersihkan Termometer

To maintain the accuracy and longevity of your Fluke 62 Max, keep the lens and the unit clean. The product care instructions specify "Wipe Clean".
