1. Pengenalan

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Elkay LK35B 3-1/2" Drain Fitting. This drain fitting is designed for kitchen sinks and features a durable Type 304 stainless steel body, a strainer basket, and a tailpiece, ensuring long-lasting performance and resistance to corrosion.

4. Persediaan & Pemasangan

Follow these steps to properly install your Elkay LK35B drain fitting. Basic plumbing tools such as a wrench, plumber's putty, and a screwdriver may be required.

4.1 Persediaan

1. Matikan bekalan air ke singki.
2. If replacing an old drain, remove it and clean the sink drain opening thoroughly.
3. Apply a thin bead of plumber's putty around the underside of the drain fitting's flange.

4.2 Langkah Pemasangan

4. Insert the drain fitting flange into the sink drain opening from the top. Press firmly to create a seal with the plumber's putty.
5. From underneath the sink, slide the rubber gasket, then the friction washer, and finally the locknut onto the drain fitting's threaded body.
6. Tighten the locknut by hand, then use a wrench to secure it firmly. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the sink or fitting.
7. Attach the tailpiece to the bottom of the drain fitting using the provided slip nut and washer. Ensure a tight seal.
8. Connect the tailpiece to your existing P-trap assembly.
9. Wipe away any excess plumber's putty from around the drain opening.

1. Turn on the water supply and fill the sink with water.
2. Remove the strainer basket and open the drain.
3. Carefully inspect all connections under the sink for any leaks. Tighten connections as needed.
