This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the UEi Test Instruments DTH880 Wall Mounted Temperature and Humidity Tester. The DTH880 is designed to accurately measure and display ambient temperature and relative humidity, making it ideal for use in various environments such as computer rooms, mechanical rooms, shops, offices, and greenhouses.

4.1. Paparan Elemen

• Paparan suhu: Shows current temperature in Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C).
• Paparan Kelembapan: Menunjukkan kelembapan relatif semasa dalam peratustage (%Kredit Kanan).
• HOLD Indicator: Appears when the data hold function is active.
• Comfort Zone Indicator: A visual cue indicating comfortable temperature and humidity levels.

4.2. Butang Kawalan

• Butang °C/°F: Togol paparan suhu antara Celsius dan Fahrenheit.
• Butang MAX/MIN: Displays the maximum or minimum recorded temperature and humidity since the last reset.
• Butang CLR: Clears the recorded maximum and minimum values.
• Butang TAHAN: Freezes the current display readings. Press again to release.

5. Persediaan

5.1. Pemasangan Bateri

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the DTH880 unit.
2. Buka penutup petak bateri.
3. Insert the required alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Tutup penutup petak bateri dengan selamat.

5.2. Pilihan Pemasangan

The DTH880 offers flexible placement options:

• Pemasangan Dinding: Use the integrated keyhole slot on the back of the unit to hang it on a screw or nail on a wall. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and the unit is level.
• Pemasangan Meja: Utilize the built-in kickstand on the back of the unit to place it upright on any flat surface, such as a desk or shelf.

6. Operasi

6.1. Menghidupkan/Mematikan

The DTH880 powers on automatically once batteries are installed. There is no dedicated power button. To power off, remove the batteries.

6.2. Pengukuran bacaan

Once powered on, the current temperature and relative humidity will be displayed on the LCD screen.

6.3. Changing Temperature Units (°C/°F)

Tekan ke ° C / ° F button to switch the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

6.4. Viewdalam Rekod Min/Maks

Tekan ke MAX/MIN button once to display the maximum temperature and humidity recorded since the last reset. Press it again to display the minimum recorded values. Press a third time to return to current readings.

6.5. Clearing Min/Max Records

manakala viewing MAX or MIN records, press the CLR button to clear the stored maximum and minimum values. The display will return to current readings.

6.6. Using Data Hold

Tekan ke TAHAN button to freeze the current temperature and humidity readings on the display. The "HOLD" indicator will appear. Press the TAHAN button again to release the function and resume live readings.

7. Penyelenggaraan

7.1. Pembersihan

Lap unit dengan lembut, damp kain. Jangan gunakan pembersih atau pelarut yang kasar. Pastikan tiada cecair memasuki peranti.

7.2. Penggantian Bateri

When the display becomes dim or erratic, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 5.1. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.

8. Penyelesaian masalah

• No Display / Unit Not Turning On:
  • Periksa pemasangan bateri. Pastikan bateri dimasukkan dengan kekutuban yang betul.
  • Gantikan bateri lama atau habis dengan yang baru.
• Bacaan Tidak Tepat:
  • Ensure the unit is placed in a location free from direct drafts, heat sources, or extreme humidity fluctuations.
  • Allow the unit to stabilize for at least 15-30 minutes after placement or battery replacement.
  • Note that the humidity sensor may not read below 25% RH accurately, as noted by some users. This is within the specified operating range of 25% to 95% RH.
• Butang Tidak Menjawab:
  • Check battery level. Low batteries can affect button responsiveness.
  • Ensure buttons are not stuck or obstructed.
