1. Pengenalan

2. Maklumat Keselamatan

Always follow basic safety precautions when using this equipment to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons.

  • Sumber Kuasa: Pastikan bekalan kuasa voltage sepadan dengan voltage indicated on the unit. Use only the provided AC adapter.
  • Pengudaraan: Do not block any ventilation openings. Allow sufficient space around the unit for proper airflow.

4. Persediaan

4.1 Membongkar dan Meletakkan

  1. Keluarkan semua komponen dari pembungkusan dengan berhati-hati.
  2. Place the main unit and speakers on a stable, flat surface.
  3. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. Avoid placing it in enclosed spaces.

4.2 Menyambung Pembesar Suara

The Philips MZ 7 system includes two Bass Reflex speakers. Connect these to the main unit:

  1. Identify the speaker output terminals on the rear of the main unit.
  2. Connect the speaker wires from each speaker to the corresponding terminals (e.g., left speaker to left terminals, right speaker to right terminals). Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).

4.3 Sambungan Kuasa

  1. Insert the AC power adapter cable into the DC IN socket on the rear of the main unit.
  2. Plug the other end of the AC power adapter into a wall power outlet.

4.4 Connecting Auxiliary Devices

You can connect external audio devices such as MP3 players, smartphones, or tablets to the system using the Auxiliary input.

  1. Locate the AUX IN port on the main unit.
  2. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
  3. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX IN port on the Philips MZ 7.

5. Arahan Operasi

5.1 Menghidupkan/Mematikan

  • Tekan ke KUASA butang pada panel hadapan atau alat kawalan jauh untuk menghidupkan atau mematikan unit.

5.2 Main Semula CD

The Philips MZ 7 supports CD-DA audio format.

  1. Tekan ke CD button to select the CD source.
  2. Buka dulang CD dengan menekan butang BUKA/TUTUP butang.
  3. Letakkan CD dengan sisi label menghadap ke atas ke dalam dulang.
  4. Tekan ke BUKA/TUTUP butang sekali lagi untuk menutup dulang.
  5. Main semula biasanya akan bermula secara automatik. Jika tidak, tekan butang MAIN/JEDA butang.
  6. Gunakan SKIP butang (◀◀ / ▶▶) untuk menavigasi antara trek.

5.3 Auxiliary Input Usage

To play audio from a connected external device:

  1. Ensure your external device is connected to the AUX IN port (refer to Section 4.4).
  2. Tekan ke AUX button on the main unit or remote control to select the Auxiliary source.
  3. Mulakan main balik pada peranti luaran anda.
  4. Adjust the volume on both the Philips MZ 7 and your external device for optimal sound.

5.4 Kawalan Kelantangan

  • Putar JILID tombol pada unit utama atau gunakan VOL +/- butang pada alat kawalan jauh untuk melaraskan tahap bunyi.

6. Penyelenggaraan

6.1 Membersihkan Unit

  • Sentiasa cabut plag unit daripada salur keluar kuasa sebelum membersihkan.
  • Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior surfaces.
  • Jangan gunakan pembersih, lilin atau pelarut yang melelas kerana ia boleh merosakkan kemasan.

6.2 Penjagaan Kanta CD

  • Avoid touching the CD lens.
  • If the CD lens becomes dirty, use a commercially available CD lens cleaner disc.

7. Penyelesaian masalah

If you encounter problems with your Philips MZ 7, refer to the following table for possible solutions.

Tiada kuasa Kord kuasa tidak disambungkan dengan selamat. Check that the AC adapter is firmly plugged into the unit and the wall outlet.

Poor sound quality from AUX input Volume on external device is too low or too high. Audio cable faulty. Adjust volume on both the system and the external device. Try a different audio cable.
